I really don't have a feeling for power consumption here.
I was just basing it on ~50% of the power listed on the
commercial trimmers (4 amps nospam at 120 Volts = 480Watts).
.5 * (480W/12V) = 20 amps.

Hope I'm way off base here.
Can anybody measure actual power consumption of an electric
string trimmer. I've got a trimmer but no ammeter (smoked
it a few year ago, boy the electric company can put out
the amps :0 ).
