Well, if you want to hang on to your $$$, take a look at the Wavecom Jr. I
think Aljon (http://aljontech.com), is selling them for $160/pair(US). I
have used them in mobile robotic applications with excellent results. If
needed you can add an MMIC RF amp, on your receiver to get better
reception.
